Private-beta terms
Terms for using PhotoDojo during private beta.
Effective September 13, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
By accepting an invitation or using PhotoDojo, you agree to these terms. The direct private beta is for people who are at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. A future institution or guardian-approved program may use separate terms. If you use PhotoDojo for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Private-beta access and accounts
PhotoDojo is an invitation-only beta. Invitations are personal, may be capacity-limited, and may be paused or revoked to protect service reliability. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and notify PhotoDojo through your invitation contact if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your work
You retain ownership of the photographs and creative material you submit. You give PhotoDojo limited, non-exclusive permission to use your submitted material and metadata only as needed to run and improve the service. This includes storing, displaying, analyzing, securing, backing up, and troubleshooting the material, and creating statistics that do not identify you. Community-facing metadata insights use only contributions from photographers who opt in and follow the safeguards described in the Privacy Notice. PhotoDojo will not publish your photographs or identify your individual creative history without separate permission. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for submitted material, including photographs of other people.
SensAI guidance
SensAI reflections, recommendations, and analyses assist your practice and may be incomplete or mistaken. They do not make autonomous artistic decisions and are not professional, legal, financial, medical, or factual determinations. You remain responsible for your photographs, creative judgment, and decisions about how to use any guidance.
Paid beta features and credits
If PhotoDojo offers a paid beta feature, we will show its price and benefits before checkout. Stripe will process the payment. SensAI credits are account-specific, nontransferable, have no cash value, and are consumed only by the actions described with the offering. PhotoDojo handles refunds, corrections, taxes, and related credit changes under applicable law and the terms shown at checkout. Deleting an account removes unused PhotoDojo credits, while limited payment records may remain as legally required.
Membership cancellation and refunds
Canceling a membership stops future renewal and does not itself refund a payment already made. Initial annual memberships may qualify for a full refund within seven calendar days when every materially relevant included annual allowance remains below 10%. A standard change-of-mind refund is limited to one per customer. Monthly billing periods already underway and annual renewals are non-refundable. Verified duplicate charges, billing errors, charges after completed cancellation, material service failures, and rights required by applicable law are handled separately. PhotoDojo may deny refunds or restrict promotional or paid access when linked account, payer, payment-method, usage, or refund history indicates abuse or an attempt to circumvent plan or refund limits. A full refund ends paid capacity but does not delete saved work. The current Refund Policy forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not: upload material you lack permission to use; access another person's account; interfere with security; send abusive automated traffic; evade usage limits; or use PhotoDojo for unlawful activity.
Beta availability
Features, limits, models, storage behavior, and pricing may change during the beta. PhotoDojo may suspend a feature or account when necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or controlled cohort capacity.
Feedback
PhotoDojo may review feedback you provide through the product, Photography Pulse, reflections, or SensAI. We may use combined patterns from that feedback to improve the service, support users, and understand recurring needs. Feedback does not transfer ownership of your photographs or other creative work.
Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. PhotoDojo may suspend or end access if you seriously violate these terms, misuse the service, create a risk for other users or PhotoDojo, or if the law requires it. Account deletion is permanent; export anything you wish to keep before confirming it.
Beta risk and responsibility
The private beta may be unavailable at times and may contain bugs, interruptions, or data loss. Keep independent originals and backups of your photographs; PhotoDojo is not a replacement for your primary archive. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoDojo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from beta use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the beta develops. When these terms change, we will publish a new effective date. Questions should be sent through the contact channel used for your beta invitation.
