Refund Policy
A fair window to change your mind.
We want you to feel good about choosing PhotoDojo. Annual members receive their entire year's capacity immediately, so standard refunds balance a genuine change of mind with material use of the service.
Effective September 13, 2026
Annual window
7 calendar days
Measured from the initial paid annual purchase using the canonical payment timestamp.
Material-use limit
Less than 10%
Every materially relevant included annual allowance must remain below the threshold.
Standard outcome
Full refund or none
PhotoDojo does not deduct AI, processing, operating, or system fees.
Annual memberships
An initial annual membership may receive a full refund when the request is made within seven calendar days of purchase and the account has used less than 10% of every materially relevant included annual allowance.
If any material allowance has reached 10% or more, the purchase is generally no longer eligible for a standard refund. Imported archive size or raw metadata count alone does not determine eligibility. Reopening unchanged saved work does not count as new use when it does not consume allowance.
The standard window applies to the initial annual purchase, not an annual renewal. Plan changes, upgrades, downgrades, and unusual billing histories may require individual review.
A standard change-of-mind refund is limited to one per customer. Another standard refund is unavailable when the customer, payer, payment method, or another account reasonably linked to them previously received one.
Monthly memberships
Monthly memberships may be canceled at any time to prevent future renewal. Payments for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable.
Billing corrections and required rights
Verified duplicate charges or subscriptions, billing errors, charges after a completed cancellation, material service failures, and situations required by applicable law are handled separately from standard change-of-mind refunds. These cases are not automatically blocked by the 10% annual-usage rule.
Refund and account abuse
PhotoDojo may deny a refund request or restrict promotional or paid access when account creation, payment, usage, or refund activity indicates abuse or an attempt to circumvent plan, introductory-pricing, usage, or refund limits. PhotoDojo may consider reasonably linked accounts and payer or payment-method history when reviewing a request.
Cancellation is separate from a refund
Canceling stops future renewal; it does not return a payment already made. Refund eligibility never prevents you from canceling renewal. Unless a full refund ends paid access earlier, your membership remains available through its paid service period.
What happens after a full refund
Paid capacity ends, future renewal is canceled, and the account returns to PhotoDojo's Preview access. Your saved photographs, analyses, selections, projects, reflections, and history are not deleted. The capacity available for new paid actions changes, but your work remains yours.
Request a review from your account.
PhotoDojo will show the standard eligibility result using the original purchase, actual included-capacity usage, and prior standard-refund history. Verified billing errors and rights required by law are handled separately.
